We left Patong for Koh Samui at 7.30 and arrived at Samui at gone 5! In this time we travelled on two minibuses, a tuk tuk, a caoch, a ferry and a taxi. Just when we were starting to think that we would be travelling for the rest of our days we finally arrived! We are staying in the most amazing place I have ever seen in my life. We have a little pink wooden hut on the beach. There is nothing for miles around (its a half hour car journey to use the internet!). The villas have a private pool and no one is ever on the beach. In the 2 days that we have been there we have had the pool to ourselves for the majority of the time!! Its like being in Paradise with loads of palm trees ever! However, on arriving and unpacking I realised that I had lost my mobile somewhere in transit! Cue panicking as I tried to remember my mums telephone number in order to get her to cancel the thing. Couldnt remember the number so we came into town to use the internet. After the internet we went for dinner and halfway through the lights go out everywhere, so we were sat in pitch black for about half an hour. Then on the way home I fell down a drain. Or at least my left leg did. It was very painful and a little old Thai man had to come and coax my leg out of the drain as it was so narrow I have no idea how the foot, let alone the leg, ended up down there. All in all this it turning out to be the most bizarre holiday I have ever had, and I think it is an amazing return to form for me in terms of accidents and mishaps.
