Koh Lanta was fantastic. We stayed on Long Beach just 2 mins from the beach and a 5min tuk tuk journey to the main town centre.

This place a has a real laid back feel to it and is not overcrowded to ridiculous proportions like Koh Samui and Ko Pi Pi.

The beach and beach front bars are plenty to keep you occupied and you will struggle to find more genuine and friendly thai's in the country.

Basically, just head here to get away from the crowds and enjoy the chilled out feel of the place.

Also, if you are heading here check out the Lantawadee resort. Reasonably priced bungalows that are immaculate, great food and the staff are amazing. You need help with anything just ask and they will make sure you are sorted.
