Hey folks, not long woken up to an absolute scorcher in Oz. Met up with relatives and am staying in a fantastic house just a stones throw from the beach...which we will be heading to shortly to cool down in the sea. Got plenty of people to meet and places to see in a short time, so better get to it!! I'll put some pics up soon.

3 months been and gone just like that!! What a great start to the adventure we have had. Covered plenty of miles, met a lot of cool people. And have plenty stories to tell you all when i get home. Not quite kept the blog site up to speed, but i guess you guys get the idea!! Album 5 pics are all out of order. They basically should start from the bottom pic up when i met Mairi in Kaikoura after we left James in Invercargill right up until New Years day in Wellingt...

We are on a farmstay here for two weeks. Having great fun even though it is hard work. Mhairi is working in the petting zoo and helping with all the animals here. I am helping on the farm doing maintenance and development work for the farm and zoo. We work Mon to Fri 9am-5pm and get the weekends off. In return we get our food and board and are madeto feel part of the family. This farmstay is recomended and you should really get in touch with Dyan and Cliff...

Didn't stay long here. Interesting town though. Early1930's thewholeplace was flattened by a massive earthquake and they built the entire place in Art Deco style. Pretty interesting but looks like some living museum. Seaside resort and i can imagineit gets really busy during summer.
