We are on a farmstay here for two weeks. Having great fun even though it is hard work. Mhairi is working in the petting zoo and helping with all the animals here. I am helping on the farm doing maintenance and development work for the farm and zoo. We work Mon to Fri 9am-5pm and get the weekends off. In return we get our food and board and are madeto feel part of the family. This farmstay is recomended and you should really get in touch with Dyan and Cliff who run the place. Haumoana is a little town but very close to Napier and Hastings and only 2mins fromthe beach. Even if you do not plan on a farmstay you should come and visit the zoo and get close to all sorts of great animals at a very reasonable price.
