We got The Ghan down to Alice Springs which was a good journey as wehad time to relax and look at the scenery. We went with Adventure Tours for a 2 day trip to Uluru, Kata Tjuta and Kings Canyon. This was a good way to do it as there was a lot of driving involved. We arrived in Darwin quite late at night and it was still really hot! The hostel is really nice - a pool in the roof! We were collected by the Wilderness Tours at 6.30am.
