Its a lot cooler down here and windy - bit more like Britain!
We went on a Wine Tour to the Barossa Valley first. Here they make Jacobs Creek, Wolf Blass, Penfolds etc. Its really pretty, there are rolling hills, creeks and trees etc. Its completely different to what we have been looking at for the past week or so! We started off at Wolf Blass where we got to try 6 wines, this was my favourite winery. Then we went to Vinecrest where we got to sample 8 wines - started to feel the effect of wine drinking here! We had a 3 course lunch which was delicious and then went to 2 more wineries after lunch (Barossa Vines and Kies Family Wines). Everyone on our tour seemed a bit worse for wear by the end of the day! We were the youngest on the tour by a lot and they were all buying expensive wine to take home but we just sampled it!
We spent the next day in Adelaide, we got the tram from Glenelg to the centre. we just wandered round the market, botanical gardens and the river. We found a really cheap and delicious Chinese we had for lunch in Chinatown. We also went to the Migration museum which was quite interesting. It was really small and gave a brief overview of how people arrived in Oz in the beginning. Adelaide is a nice small city and looks very English with the style of architecture. There are a lot of Georgian stone buildings, very different to the Northern part of Oz.
We wanted to go to Kangeroo Island and Fleuerieu Peninsula but we decided we better stop spending at the rate we have being doing! Or we'll never make to the end of our trip!
