Narelle and Matthew's Travels
Yesterday we were in the town of Reims. Another cathedral to visit and some champagne to be tasted.
The cathedral is another large and beautiful building with more amazing stained glass. I particularly liked the glasswork designed by Chagall and have a couple of photos of it in the album for this town.
We were interested in doing a champagne house or two but the times for tours did not fit in with our journey into Paris. We did however find a little cafe on the cathedral square where champagne was served by the glass. It seemed only fitting to try a couple of glasses while we were there.
From Reims we head into Paris to find our apartment and settle for a couple of weeks.
