Hi everyone, hope you all had a good new year. I had a wicked night, this is us messing about in Cargo Bar where Hed Kandi was. Laura - they moved all the tables and put big shiny disco balls up and red velvet curtains, it looked like a completely different place. The midnight fireworks was out of this world, they went on for ages all around Sydney in every direction from Cargo, it really was brilliant, never seen fireworks like that before! If it was quiet in England, it's because everyone in Sydney was English, it was just like been at home, talked to heaps of English people. it was cricket the next day too, so that probably added to the crowds - I dont know why - we have lost! We drank lots of Champaign and a lot of other mixes of drinks, but I was not that drunk considering! We was really lucky as Ryan had been at Bondi, so we could get a lift back at 2.30, which saved us getting the train! He is such a sweetie. We got back about 5am and I stayed at the girls house, if you can call it a house, it's more like a mansion 7 bedrooms and 4 acres of land, I cant even fit it all onto a picture it is that big! So nice! They are so lucky. I came back about 12 the next day and was worn out - it must be my old age now. Didnt do much new years day, just rest.
The next day, we went to Bondi shopping with the girls. Mel (another girl that works at the local pub) picked us up and we drove there - It is so easy to get around if you have a car, it is just one big straight road up and down the coast, you can't really go wrong! We nearly got there and a car bibbed us to tell us that our back tyre had split! None of us four knew how to change it, but luckily we was right next to a garage, so went in all drssed up with our hair nice and asked the guys to help us. We left them too it, as they seemd to know what to do better than us and it was raining, so we needed to get inside. They said it was our late xmas present and wouldn't take any money, which was nice of them! The advantages of being a woman hey!He!
Today 3rd Jan, I needed to top up my tan. I went down to Terrigal beach on my own as El had to go car shopping. It was hot on the beach although the sky was pitch black, which was strange, it started raining so I got the bus back and as soon as I was on the bus, it had stopped raining, Typical.
Not much planned for tomorrow, apart from sorting out my plans, for travelling! Will e mail you all soon, Keep in touch, Nadz xx
