Got to Vietnam yesterday, the bus took 6hrs, so it wasn't too bad, and my passport is starting to look pretty cool now :), which I'm very excited about.
This morning I've been to the Reunification Palace and the War Remnants Museum, which were both really good, though for different reasons. The Reunification Palace has been kept the way it was on the morning that the south surrendered, and it's interesting to look around, but I got lost in the basement/bomb shelter thing, which was a bit embarassing once I'd realised you were supposed to follow the arrows (whoops). The war remnants museum is all about the vietnam war, so had bits of shot-down US aeroplanes, ammunition and stuff, definitely worth a visit.
So far Vietnam is really hot compared to Cambodia, I'm melting, but one of the guys at my hostel has promised it will rain this afternoon, I really hope he's right
