Mum The Spanish child idea came from church actually - apparently a whole load of them will be at SGHS for a month in September and it was on the church notices. Is there any other food you've been particularly missed? Mum Hi there. Well Clare's party went well - she had lots of friends, family and others there! The food was good too - which is as well because she has plenty of leftovers to go at. John, Angela and Orla came. That baby is just like you - won't sleep and only wants mummy if daddy isn't there. She is also very pretty even if she does look just like her dad. Mum On Monday we went to Cartwright Hall Art Gallery only it was closed so we went to Salts Mill instead, on Tuesday we had a day off and on Wednesday we were supposed to go to Harrogate Art Museum. Only we had a better offer and spent the day with Siobhain and boys and Laura at Lightwater Valley. All went well until the boys decided to do the two big rides side by side... Brendan did not feel well after the second and Laura gave up after the first! It was a good day out though. Tomorrow I want to tidy my bedroom love MUM xxx ps Lara loves you I

Mum We have just spent the day at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park - the first of many galleries we will be visiting this summer as preparation for Lara's A level. It's a great place to visit and the dogs had a great time as they could come too. Dad's football was a little better than last week when he played last night - so that's good then. Mum (the forgotten one) Now I am officially upset - you email your dad but you have forgotten all about the Mum slaving away in your room making it somewhere you will enjoy when you get home! Lara and I both went out for meals last night so Dad decided to go out with John Brownhill. Big mistake... sore head of biblical proportions has been the result. Book club on Friday 23rd but still haven't decided which book to pick love Mum xxx PS Lara loves you I copy you in on all of them, it's not my fault you'd rather post on my message board, and since you both ask essentially the same questions what's the point in writing it out twice??? And besides, since my room is now apparently not my room but your study all you're doing is cleaning up your own mess, so you being in there is blatently not my fault :P Don't know about which book you should pick...

Mum It is about time we heard from you varmint! How are you? How was the pony ride? Yes, Y1/2 are small but I have enjoyed year 2/3 since Easter so I'm hoping to enjoy 1/2 as well. Anyway there'll be lots less marking, but I have a lot to learn if I'm going to do this well. I'm also going to be giving Mary some supply cover in Y3/4 so that will be cool too. Dad played football last night. He was practically in tears when he got home, he was terrible! He couldn't accelerate and his ball control skills have pretty much disappeared. However they have asked him to play next week too - so he can learn how to play properly. Last altar serving training tomorrow - we're going to fit the children with their cassocks. Mum Well Lara really enjoyed Morocco although she did get altitude sickness and couldn't get to the top of the mountains. She loved the villages and especially the markets. She brought home bangles, necklaces, sweets and abeautiful plate. She has now got a real taste for international travel! I got a new job yesterday - at least Mary Burton got it for me! She came up and asked me to apply for a job at Christ Church and I got it! I am going to be a Year 1/2 teacher! It's part time and for 1 year at first but likely to become permanent. Yippee! Not much other news - we're going to see Nanny Mo's puppies on Sunday. love Mum xxx PS Lara says she loves you Tell Lara she'd better have got me presents from her trip, after all the stuff I've sent home for her :P Congrats on the new job, but aren't year 1/2 a little bit little? Mum Lara's back and has had a great time in Morroco. Her plane was very delayed and so I haven't had much chance to chat to her yet. Mum The boys are fine aand I think you will find that Bothie is now quite definitely my boy. So there. Lara will be back on Saturday - it is an 8 day trip. She should be in the Atlas mountains now I think. I've nearly finished Lara's room will be heading back to yours soon! I am lloking forward to all this Thai food you will be cooking for us. Mum Have you got the camera problem sorted out yet - it would be a shame not to have pictures of NEpal and Bangkok is such a good place to pick up a good cheap one? Dad enjoyed the trip to London - he went to the cricket club with Tony and you know what that means! Mum Well, it's quiet here now, Dad and Lara are on their way to Gatwick as Lara's expedition starts today! Morroco here she comes... Dad is then going to stay at Tony and Fi's overnight and come back here tomorrow. Didn't get the job - onwards and upwards. Lara had a sixth form day yesterday which was really a waste of time except that Physics gave them cakes to eat and Art gave her loads of homework to do!
