I forgot to add this one!!
First Weekend 6/21-6/23
I have not done much, honestly. I have been too tired, and I am hella jet lagged!!! Saturday, I woke up late and went to lunch, at a Korea BBQ!!! I feel stupid, but I just don't think that I had ever considered that Koreans BBQ. Anyway, I tried a Hawaii dish called Loco Moco. Loco Moco is a ground beef, shape like a burger with an egg (the egg white is well done and the yellow at the center is not well don, so it is a lil runny) this is served with a sauce, rice, cold mac n mayo (not too weird testing) and a bunch of vegetables I had not seen. Anyway, it is a too day meal, they give you a lot. So not bad for $6.50.
We also watched The Other Bolynn Girl. OMG that was a really good movie, talk about a messed up family!!! The sisters are competing for the same guy and even though Mary has a baby, Anne still marries the guy, who is the king, but she cant have a son, so she tries to convince her gay brother to do her!!! Let me not ruin the movie for y'all but just rent it. It is worth it.
Sunday, I went to church (I can just walk there) and my ward is filled with young people. It is not like the young single ward at my church. There were some really HOT… REALLY good looking guys…seriously, I should just stay in Hawaii. The whole time I was drolling, even my Bishop is good looking, but he is marriedJ The women are beautiful too. They have wide features—big eyes, lips, booty…Here my big-o-booty does not stand out!! (tear) everyone was so kind, I met a new friend, Erin (Trish, u have nothing to worry about LOL) and she took me around. After church, I went home, ate, watched some TV and fell asleep!! I was totally knocked out!!! I went to bed at like 5pm and didn't get up until like 4am, that is almost 12hrs, more that I have ever slept at once in like the past 5 years. Seriously, I can only sleep 5hrs at a time.
So I woke up on Monday, and I really stayed in, I had to finish signing up for classes, find my internship, and get settled in at my little studio. I am renting out this little place for $250. It is really small (see pictures) but it is cute and good enough (my shoes have a place hihihi). And I have flowers in my back yard, so I will be making weekly bouquets. So hopefully I will get this by the end of the summer (I used to make bouquets back home, Rwanda. We had fresh flowers in our gardens.)
