Woke at 8.30 just in time for breakfast, 8.30 is considered a lie-in so far on this trip, this was aided by drinking a bottle of rum the night before with Rogan, Lee, Abi and David.
That morning we went for a walk into the mountains to see two waterfalls with rock pools to swim in, bushman paintings but only a few, the age of these is unknown. The guide Sam was full of local knowledge.
Cheese Toasties for dinner, had started to crave them as we discussed what would be for dinner. Me and Martin volunteered to start a fire if it meant we could have cheese Toasties!
Me, Matt, Lee, Anna, Martin and Jon headed for the rock pools for a swim, we headed to the 2nd pool as you could swim around the back of the left waterfall and come out underneath the right side, none of us brave enough to actually do it as it required swimming underwater through a small passage.
Spent about an hour at the pool jumping from the rocks and trees.
Me and Lee ventured to the first pool and stood at the top of the tallest waterfall.
That evening we went on the zip wire, 15m up in the tree canopies. Re-confirmed my fear for heights, didn't seem to be a problem as a kid!
Quite a rush on the zip wire, loudest scream goes to Alison who was by the screaming and look on her face terrified!
That night had a Braai one of the best meals so far, with some fresh bread baked by Alison
Free upgrade into a dorm, pretty crap nights sleep as mattress was a sheet of foam and could feel wooden slats underneath.
