Everyone slept in this morning until 9am - I think we are WA time still! Cappuccinos while watching the bay then had a long hot shower (it's the simplest things you enjoy and we only roughed it for 2 nights!!). We did some washing while the breakfast marathon was going on then set off in the car for Cape Bauer - a circular drive that only takes an hour or two to do. We stopped off at Hally's Beach, which was stunning. I had taken the camera but found it was flat when I got there so have borrowed the above picture from the internet!! The beach was really long with cliffs at one end, and had huge waves crashing onto a reef that ran the length of the beach. It was also an awesome colour but freezing cold! No one swam. We saw plenty of bob-tailed lizards (called sleepy lizards over here) but nothing else. Next we drove on to the Whistling Rocks, which were whistling, and the Blowholes, which weren't blowing, before returning home. The boys loved the blowholes but Katharine stressed all the way there in case she got blown off the rocks!! We returned home for lunch and had planned a relax but the kids wanted to skateboard (banned in the caravan park) so instead we walked into town and bought food for the next few days. By the time we got back they were all over skateboarding! Annie has made a friend called Matilda from Port Hedland and the rest of the afternoon was spent playing with her. We have decided to continue exploring the Eyre Peninsula over the next week or so as it's stunning and very quite.
