We started the day late because I am fighting off brochitis and Christopher has something in his eye. Chris brought me lots of fluids and chicken soup and I felt good enough and wanted to venture outside. We walked around the city enjoying the fresh air. We went to Millennium Park and saw the big bean - many people attracted to the big bean. We walked along Lake Michigan. It is really beautiful. There are so many active outside things to do - too bad we are both under the weather. Last stop Willis (Sears) Tower. It is crazy high and a bit scary standing on the glass ledge and looking down. Quiet day for us but we are both feeling better and plan to get a full day in tomorrow.
A big difference from places like Memphis, Austin and NOLO to Chicago. So many people, so much horn blowing, bumping into one another. I think I prefer the non big city to the big city but I am enjoying Chicago. Chicago does not seem, at least so far, to not have as many eclectic personalities out and about. Maybe I am just starting to miss LA.
