About Nicole
The last few days seem to have melded together. We spent our last day at Christina Lake at the beach, knitting out in the sun while listening to an audio book about the spiritual disipline of silence and solitude. I enjoyed it very much!

I'm am so glad to have the support of my parents and husband. Unfortunately Devon cannot come because of work. I am hopeful that this will be the start of a new life. I am …

Diane Hi Nikki, I'm glad to here your doctor recommended you take things a bit more slowly going off of your drugs. You can still meet your goal but at a slower pace. I'm off to Cranbrook on Friday but will try and keep up with the ongoing trip. You're all in my thoughts and prayers. May God continue to envelope you with his love and grace. Love Diane
re: christina lake, British ColumbiaDevon You are my prayer honey stay strong I love you
re: christina lake, British Columbiadiane Hi Nicole, I'm so proud of you! You are very courageous and a role model for us all. As you're in the mountains - Psalm 121 - I raise my eyes towards the mountains, Where does my help come from? My help comes from the LORD the Maker of heaven and earth. He will not allow your foot to slip, your Protector will not slumber. Indeed the Protector of Israel does not slumber or sleep. The LORD protects you, the LORD is a shelter right by your side. The sun will not strike you by day, or the moon by night. The LORD will protect you from all harm, He will protect your life. The LORD will protect your coming and going both now and forever. Take heart Nikki - He is there as are so many others who are praying for you and your family. Love you, Diane
re: christina lake, British ColumbiaKathleen Hi Nikki, Thinking of you, and praying for you. In prayer this morning I feel God wants you to receive these verses: Psalm 34:7 "The angel of the Lord encamps all around those who fear Him, and delivers them." Also, Romans 15: 5 and 6 "May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you a spirit of unity among yourselves as you follow Christ Jesus, so that with one heart and mouth you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ." Keep on Nikki, hold fast to His love for you, despite the tempest inside. Claim what you know to be truth and keep giving God the rage and the fear, you can't shock Him. His love for you never changes.
re: christina lake, British ColumbiaPhyllis Stotts Love the updates - keep them coming. Yes, I've been praying & will continue for all of you. Today Devon and I enjoyed pizza & ice cream and watched the Edmonton - Calgary football game. Then Devon had to go to work. Calgary whipped Edmonton something like 50 - 5 (somewhere in there). Forgot exact score but then what do you expect from a Sr. Also checked on the house and got the mail. All's fine there. Love Gram
re: christina lake, British ColumbiaKathleen Hi Nikki, I am reminded of a verse today as I pray for you and think of you. 2Tim 6,7: ...fan into flame the Gift of God, which is IN YOU through the laying on of my hands. For God did NOT give us a spirit of timidity, BUT a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline. Persevere Nikki. And maybe buy a fish and chip dinner somewhere...I feel like I need to eat something great for you :) Hope your tummies heal.
