Got up with a slight hangover from the night before but it was well worth it. Was a little sad to leave The Secret Garden but i highly recommend it to anyone who goes to Quito.
Caught a cab to Terminal Terrestre where we had KFC before we got on the bus to Banos which was another 3hr bus ride away on one of the crazy Ecuadorian buses. Beautiful scenery one again though.
Banos is a great little tourist town nestled between volcanoes, including 1 active one, with alot of life even on a Sunday. Got to our hostel the Isla De Banos which was more like a resort run by this nice German man called Christian. The balcony had a view of the mountains it was fantastic.
We wandered around in the rain for a while then went and had a little snack at La Jardin, which translates into the Garden, we must have a thing for things with garden. Great nachos with some great salsa that was a little different to usual. Booked our horse ride for the next day then went for dinner at Mariane where we ate some of the best stakes we had ever had and half a liter of wine all for less then $18!! We also bumped into the Danes from the jungle.
