Had a fantastic flight from Melbourne, a bit delayed at the airport but you have to expect that. The 12 hours seemed to fly by and we got off to a running start when we hit LAX.Got on the FlyAway bus to Union Station then caught the subway to Hollywood & Vine then walked to the hostel which has turned out to be a nice place, friendly people. We then did the touristy thing along Hollywood Boulevard and the Walk of Fame, had McDonalds for lunch then went to Graumans Chinese Theatre where we were conned (not to hard mind you) into taking a limousine tour of Hollywood, Bel-Air, Beverly Hills and Rodeo Drive! Talk about doing it hard as backpackers :) We then got changed after zoomin past a few shoe stores before heading to the Staples Centre to see the Clippers go down to the Warriors 109 - 103. Now maybe a beer before bed to get a good nights sleep before some more touristy stuff in LA before flying off to Quito in Ecuador in the evening.
