I made it! Two days, a few hundred extra km and a Twingo later I'm in la ciotat! Only for one night and the boys are off again tomorrow but I don't care!
So today I visited mr frenchy fix it to see when my bike would be going to the bike garage, and basically it's still there and will be going tomorrow.
Returning back to my hotel, what to do? So I ring the breakdown people and ask if they can get me a
hire car now its a weekday, so at least I can get about. 10 mins later they call me back and a car has been sorted and a pre paid taxi is en route.
I make the the decision that however long it takes I'm going to meet the boys and at least have one night of having a laugh this trip. I pack my bag and the taxi arrives.
I pick up the hire car from Montelimar, a silver Renault Twingo...Rip Curl edition 1.2 automatic badboy....yeah that's what I'm talking about, I hit the road for the 200km drive down to la ciotat.
2 hours later and here I am. As ugly as they are I was so happy to meet up with the boys. 2 days of pretty much solitary confinement takes it's tole!
The hotel is sweet and it's a shame I haven't been here to take advantage of the rooftop pool and sauner, I will tomorrow no doubt.
Clean T on and were out for dinner. Outside the hotel is the harbour, really nice with loads of expensive boats with the bars and restaurants situated around it.
Dinner is the first hot meal I've had since i left England, and my pizza was lush...compared to charlie's blue steak anyway!
After dinner Ollie and I go all out and get an ice cream. Well Ollie got more than he bargained for. I have never seen such a massive ice cream in my life, it must have stood over a foot from cone to top! Rediculous!!
A few beers later and I've had a great night, although the boys were clearly tired and are leaving early tomorrow I appreciate them coming out to make my trip downhere worthwhile.
Tomorrow.....bring it on!!!!

Ben Just cos you iz in Franse doesn't mean you have to forget all your English. Two days on your lonesome, you could have brushed up on your grammar and spellering! Sorry you're having a rough time, I'm sure the Twingo got more than it bargained for though! See you soon hero
