So I've finally started blogging my trip... You may have gathered that I'm not actually in the UK (yet) but Seoul, South Korea. I'm visiting rellies at the mo, and enjoying all the delicacies that this wonderful little country has to offer. Korea is two things for me - convenient and tasty. Convenient, because (as my aunty once said) you can get so many things delivered to your house (from videos, noodles, laundry, clothes) that one does not really need shoes. Tasty, because there are so many restaurants and eateries around here that it's almost a shame that we don't have more stomachs.
This is also the country where people don't have to wear seatbelts in the back seat of cars, all young women are fashionable, many go to public baths (so it's not just a Roman thing), most eat with chopsticks made of stainless steel (which takes a little getting used to) and after-school tutoring is a thing of the norm.
I'm here for 4 more days - most of which will be taken up preparing for my real adventure to the Motherland to study puppetry. I've still got a lot of internet research to do (I've just finished my puppetry portfolio - yay!) so I think I'll leave my procrastinating for another time :)
