Back home in San Bonifacio. I'm getting very used to the twenty or so minute train ride into Verona. This week I will probably do it every day. I am attempting to keep myself busy and stave off the bouts of loneliness that have come around. Jess left yesterday, pathetic that I'm already lonely, I know. But it comes from a larger sense of missing my friends and family back home. The knowledge that this is a normal part of travelling alone doesn't make the lonely go away, but it does help a bit.
I had my second Italian lesson today with my teacher Ilaria. She is a language student at the university in Verona. Tomorrow i also have a placement test at said university to see what kind of courses I should be taking. Italain language courses that is. The faster I learn the better.
While Jess was here we spent time in Verona, Soave, Venice, vicenza and treviso. It was a lovely visit that I will never forget. Thanks so much for coming Jess!
My Internet point here is at a park outside, and I am currently being eaten by Mosquitos. Off I go to get groceries.
