We thought we would have the morning by the pool before moving on, however there was no breeze at all and after about half an hour we couldn't take it any longer! We could barely walk down the stairs, we were done in! We played cards in the lobby and had a cheeky coke before trying to book a taxi. Here's our second problem of the day, they could not be booked from the hotel so we walked to the road with our bags (real backpackers for 5 minutes) and hailed a blue bird - avoiding non blue birds. Our last hotel is the most swish, it's called Eden and its ethos is having the outside in so there are plants everywhere. We were too early to check in so booked our bags in and walked to the town. We have been at Kuta before but we are more central here, just down the road from Waterbom. We decided to go into a big shopping centre and I was shocked at how similar it all was to home, apart from the prices! We looked round for some bargains, I got a Michael Kors bag for £27 and Hannah got a purse for £6! We also bartered with a market trader outside the shopping centre and bought a watch for £10 - they took English money! When we walked through the shopping centre, it opened out to the beach so we sat and had a coke and chips looking out to sea. Also overlooking a pool with banging tunes, and some drunk dancers raving away!
We headed back to our room, the hotel is massive and we are right at the back! Our room has a balcony and overlooks the swimming pool.
We go out for dinner in a Thai restaurant, yummy! Then standard puzzle, card, book time before bed!!
