Feeling refreshed after my early night! We head down for breakfast, we make toast and ask for scrambled egg. I notice another table with pancakes and order them too!!
We ask at reception about getting to the beach and they give us free shuttle bus times, next one is 12:00 so we settle for morning by the pool. The floor by the pool gets really hot and is difficult to walk on but its worth it to reach the cold water! Our driver seems nice and agrees to stop at an ATM on the way to the beach. This time I manage to get my money out and after a cheeky high-five Hannah tries to get hers out too...but fails. Luckily she gets a message from Barclays straight away and she gets money out on her second attempt! Feeling rich again we head to the beach. Lovely views and nice white sand, we last an hour before we need a coke and Yanni break, this time accompanied by an ice cream! We went back to the beach and Hannah noticed a kayak sign so we went out in a kayak for a while and Sarah continued to sunbathe. We saw an orange bouy a bit further out so decided to try and get to it! Another group saw this and then copied - always setting the trends! We liked rowing out to the Orange bouy and then letting the waves bring us back in. We head back to our driver at half 4. Sarah told us that he suggested we go to another beach for sunset and that he would take us. This only gave us a short time to shower and get ready but it was well worth it! We saw the most beautiful sunset and took lots of photos! The driver had dropped us off at a restaurant and we felt like we had to eat there. We asked for a menu and a lady told us that we could only drink on the beach and had to go inside to eat but we were surrounded by people eating! We ask another man and he brings menus over. Unfortunately we saw that all the food was seafood and none of us were keen on eating there. Of course we all had a cheeky Coke before we left and headed back to our hotel. The driver says he likes English music and blares some tunes out all the way home, it's like a party bus. Everything from Britney, Westlife, ABBA, the blue song, in da club, Pussycat Dolls.....we were raving! We had dinner at a lovely restaurant right outside our hotel. I decided to treat myself to a cocktail and sweet and sour chicken which was lovely! We walked up the road to a supermarket and Hannah and Sarah wanted me to try a kinder joy. We went back to the hotel and played some cards and puzzles. The kinder joy was lovely, very different to our kinder eggs! Sarah went to her room to book our next hotel in Kuta while me and Hannah watch an annoying programme about a fat girl who loses weight but could do a bit better.
