Today's a day to move on, we're off to Nusa Dua. We do a bit of souvenir shopping before we head on our journey. Hannah goes back to a lady who promises to have an extra small bintang purple top. She doesn't!! But Hannah tries on the small and decides to go for it. I buy a few more pressies for everyone at home.
I've ran out of money and so try to get some out but it doesn't let me. When I get back to the room I have a text from Barclays so I reply to confirm it was me with my card and they unblock it. We book a taxi (turns up in 2 minutes and we're not ready!!) the taxi driver takes us to our next hotel. He tells us he loves Adele and whistles 'someone like you' as he drives. He likes saying 'beep beep' to drivers in the way and we join in!
When we arrive in Nusa Dua and check in we have half an hour to wait until we can go to our rooms and we spot a pool table! Sarah tells us she's played recently and was really good so I pair up with her!!! However, it turns out we're all pretty bad. None of the balls seem to go in! Hannah warms up a bit and starts potting (hers and ours). We're so bad that the bar staff laugh along with us and come round the bar to watch us - we now have an audience!
As luck would have it, we end up both on the black ball when Hannah still has one left and here's when Sarah's skill comes to light as a sweet shot pots the black!
Our rooms are now ready so we go up to them. The hotel and rooms are very European, white walls with bright colours everywhere. Not like what we've been staying in so far. The bathroom has a door sharing thing going on between the toilet and the shower, not too private but we've kind of got over that in Bali, none of the bathrooms seem to be.
We then spent the rest of the day by the pool and pool bar.
We decide to go on an explore of the area and to try to find another ATM, Hannah now needs money too. Shops look good, lots of souvenirs :)
ATM doesn't work for either of us and so once we return and shower we can only eat at the hotel as we don't have to pay for that straight away. I write a complaint to Barclays.
We go to the roof top restaurant and it's empty! There is a special pasta night happening, a huge buffet of food, but we'd already spied calzones that we fancied so we ordered of the menu. While we were waiting for the food, a waiter came over with cards and did a few tricks to us (Hannah had them sussed out!) and spoke to us about his family. We did a trick on him too and he liked it! Although he did tell Hannah how she could improve it!! Haha!
Dinner came and it was nice. We had a free cocktail and then headed back for cards and reading hour!
I was exhausted and pretty much fell asleep straight away!
