Arrived in Rome on 2nd of March and was surprised how warm and sunny it was. Two and a half days at the Ferragamo portrait suites, good via Condotti shopping and lots of walking. Maxi contemporary gallery had a great exhibition on recycling.
Now in our apartment at Porto Ercole, Tuscany, overlooking the marina.Today visited Monte Argentario golf club to organize golf, and Grossetto to organize Yoga. Mick had the usual early freezing dip in the Med. He is in charge of driving and finance while Jb is navigation and linguistics, good team effort.
In Rome ate at Quinzi e Gabrielli restaurant with cousin Ann Ahern. Fantastic seafood meal. Last night, very ordinary meal at the port as very little open here yet. But, tonight BBQ at home with a bottle of chianti. Bounissimo! It has become cold but we are warm and cosy in the apartment.
