I spent today in Liverpool with my friends before my flight to Paris. It's a pretty city whose main export was the Beatles. The picture is of one of the three graces, the nickname of three nice buildings on the ocean front. Paris is proving to be a challenge since I know almost no French. I have a translator but have been too embarrassed to use it. Instead I just keep my mouth shut and try to figure things out by the process of elimination.
