MP's Travels
So I don't have a lot to say today... Classes started this morning promptly at 9:30ish... and I say ish because nothing in south america starts on time. You could arrive over twenty minutes late and still be on time in south america, it's positively ridiculous.
Anyhow, I was placed into Intermedio 1, and I might be switching because it seems it might be a little too easy for me. We'll see I guess.
Lunch was quite an experience in the cafeteria because I didn't know what they hell they were serving. So being the dumb american I say... PIZZA, cause I figure, it's a college cafeteria, they have to have pizza. So I get in line to get it, order my agua sin gas, and a fruit salad amazingly, and then they hand me my pizza. This awful looking bread slice with horrific looking green spices and loads of cheese. Good thing I got that fruit salad, huh?
After class Christina, Lori, Andrew and I went to the travel agent and bought our trip to Iguassu Falls for this saturday. We'll be taking the plane at like 6 in the morning, and will be there by about 9ish or so? Then we have a private car picking us up, a private tour of the falls, and the car will return us to catch the overnight bus back to buenos aires... I'm ultra excited.
After that, we all met some other students and went for some food... I got empanadas again because I know that no matter where I am, I'm bound to get something close to the same each time.
I need to get going, because I still have to find my black boots, a scarf, and get back before too dark, since everyone deserted me about 5 minutes ago. Thanks guys!
Don't worry, I'm wearing my whistle mandy, and I have my pepper spray in my pocket.
Besos.
MarÃa (that's my name down here)
