Walk number 3- Miles parents are in Adelaide so they came on the walk with us. They said it would take 1 and a half hours - we smashed it in 48 minutes. My initial thoughts of the walk were its a bit boring, but by the end I loved the walk. It took us past the recreation park- which allowed cyclists, runners and peddle cars to take the loop- but for those who like to sweat, they have a special course for you! See pictures. If recreation for you mean looking for gold, you can do that too.
The zen garden is well worth the visit and miles will return to practice his self meditation.
The final leg of the walk took us to the sunken gardens which prob are more amazing when they are in bloom. The end point of the walk was the statue of pan.
We took the tram into the city hoping for a famous Adelaide pub meal, we ended up at the little pub on Henley- they didn't lie, they were tiny! The food was average, nothing amazing or outstanding. The atmosphere was old world charm. The toilet was unisex/ disabled - so the mirror is perfectly placed to check out your navel!
We taxied to AAMI stadium to watch Freo lose to the crows- and I won $10 buck as Miles told me Freo would win! Yay best game of footy ever.
