Last day.
Wow. What a relaxing day. Got up late again.
Walked arond the neighborhood. Jenny had a great idea to go to Park Gruell.
Though I wasn't crazy about the idea, what a great experience.
First the walk and bus ride up the hill was worth it. Do it! The park as an investment by a developer and then as "architecture" was interesting. Gosh..what an expensive land development project. I am sure they never got their money out of it. In my eyes, it looked like they haas a ton on money when they started, building the terrace and the marketplace, and then as they moved up the hill.... They did less and less.
Saw a real live pickpocket. The books arent kidding. I warned the lady on the bus.....and she was oblivious. The guy walked off the bus after being called out like nothing happened.
Walked thru the nice shopping area again. Found a couple of sweaters in a shop near the apartment.
Had dinner at the small place accross the street. The food was okay. The olives and the jam on - excellent.
Made some updates on yelp for the places where we had meals. That was fun.
Then after napping and packing ..... Late in the evening, Spain style, we went out to another local place for dinner. This was the 1st time we actually had DINNER. Yes.. Dinner as in a meal... Not tapas. It was great. A 4 out of 5 again. I had e osso bocco. What a piece of meat and bone. And the sause wow. Alex had the meatballs. Jen ordered the beef with mushrooms...more like a stew. And then we shared the local vegetable soup. Yum yum. Again 4 out of 5. Problem is we all gained weight.
We left for the airport at 4:45 am. Jenny and alex off to Paris. Me back to the states for 24 hours of travel.
