Day 3 continued
After the Gauti church, went shopping at the store, much easier this time.
Had a light lunch . Headed out again to find a place to exchange dollars for euros.
Made it to city center. Had my passport and found a bank. 1/ discount. Ouch.
Got tickets for Christmas day (6th) to go to the monastery an hour and a half away. Of course that took a lot of time, find the right station stop, know ing the difference between the metro and the rail station, and then finding the right kiosk. All the stuff that makes good stories.
Fell asleep on the bus back to the apt.
We all napped. Took off at 5.00 to the plaza to shop, and have dinner.
Sa a small group of pensioners protesting, it sounded lie a group of hundreds, but it was 40 old folks making a lot of noise about the cuts to pensions. Wonder if we'll see that in the states.
It is the eve of Christmas eve.... Yah.
Found another great place for dinner. It was Chilean. Had piea It was great.
