Doyles on Watson Bay
With a suitably low key New Years Day chilling on the beach and in the hot tub, the following day was yet another adventure to the other side of Sydney Harbour to the world famous Doyles Restaurant at Watsons Bay. Doyles is a bit of an Aussie institution, having been making glorious seafood for almost 100 years - that's a blooming long time in this country!
We met up with friends as 13 of us headed out on a water taxi for some truly beautiful scenery and some gorgeous seafood across the harbour at Watson's Bay. The view of the city and the surrounds is almost as good as the fish and chips. No haddock and cod though, take your pick from whiting, flathead or barramundi, all delicious!
After lunch we all headed back in the water taxi, getting him to drop us off right on the Opera House dock for a cheeky ABF drink (thats absolutely bloody final) at the Opera House Barbefore heading home to Freshie...
