Hi from Barker and Proley !!

We spent the first day in Khao San road, such a quality place. There's markets down the street, bars and food places everywhere. We've eaten street food, and mcdonalds, really healthy. Started on the beers pretty early, about 11am, and carried on until early hours, cos we just made so many friends. Everywhere you go you meet people and they tag along with you or you with them. Random Austian / Canadian girl followed us around in the morning, then she left and we chillde with her friend a Canadian guy, who we drank the afternoon through with, then we met some finnish girls, drank with them, and then some American girls who we drank the night through with.

Not so much culture so far, just a day and night on the pop, but we're off to Chang Mai in the far north of Thailand tonight. Going to get the night bus so we dont lose a day travelling (11hour journey!), and we'll sleep so it saves accomodation cost too. Do whatever up there for three days, then travel to the deep south and party on the Islands for a week before i come home. Matt's due to come home then too.....but he'll see.
