I decided I should write a post before I start classes (I'll have a lot to say then, I hope all good things). Let's see, I spent these past few days kind of relaxing and getting my life together...Ikea is a good friend of mine, I finally bought food to put in my fridge, have yet to use the kitchen though. I didn't really think about the fact that I'd be cooking for myself for the first time while I'm in France... uh ya it's kinda scary. I wish Julia Childs could pop up and teach me how to cook. I bought some ravioli and I think I know how to make that. Otherwise I got omelet stuff and a jar of Nutella the size of my face (it was the smallest one I could find). Ya so far I've eaten Nutella and the rest of my baguette and that's it. I'm screwed.
The international students went out on Friday night, that was fun... oh and we got kabobs and fries after so it was a great night haha.
I hung out with Celina and Reid last night and we drank wine and ate cheese and meat which was much needed after a stressful bus ride haha. We had a blast in our ninja snuggies :)
I got home late today, like 2:30 (well, late for a sleepover haha), then cleaned all my dishes and took a shower and continued trying to put my life together. Celina and I went to Mass at 7pm, which was a struggle because the church with the sign for the 7pm Mass was not the church it was at. The actual church was about a 10 min walk away in the cold. So we got there late and we were able to find two chairs together in the back, it was a packed Mass in that big church! I wish I had a picture of it, but it was cool. There was a ton of youth too! They all bunched up outside the church afterwards to smoke, but there was definitely a huge community of youth! I think I'll try a closer church in the daylight next time, but I'm glad we found this one!
Otherwise that's pretty much it, sorry I'm kinda boring, just trying to keep chugging in this new place
