At this stage of the journey it's becoming a real struggle to get up on a morning but we manage to set off on our last real day of driving by 10am. Don't get far before we make the first stop of the day and visit Arlington National Cemetry. We see the eternal flame at the Kennedy burials and catch the changing of the guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. We fall foul of the lack of useful roadsigns in the USA (the most useful being 'Gusty winds MAY exist...') and it takes a while to find our way out the other side of D.C. and onto the I-95 towards New York City!
