Hullo - So Bangkok .......... an interesting place which i've still not made my mind up about (Mark will have to let you know) so will save full comment until we return in a couple of months, but for the meantime we are leaving Bangkok tomorrow and heading North, first stop Ayutthaya for a couple of days then jump on the train again for a day in Lop Buri (monkey city) then get an overnight train up to Chaing Mai arriving on the morning of the 9th where we spend 2 days in the city then head out for a 3 day 2 night jungle trek - arrive back in Chaing Mai city on the eve of 13th and stay there for a few more days before a bus ride to the Laos boarder (Huaysai) where we pick up a slow boat down the Mekong river through laos arriving at Luang Prabang on the 19th!

All go go go - had my first mosi bite but couldn't have liked my blood that much as didn't come back for more or tell his/her mates - we moved guesthouses and are now in a cheaper one with cold showers - not as bad as you might think with the weather here! There are loads of stalls with hello kitty mainia - millie and annalise would be in heaven! And stalls upon stalls of fabrics and stuff that Carla would have a field day buying.

We are ready to move up north a bit of a change will be welcome - bring on the lop buri monkeys! Will most likely blog again once in Laos after the 19th as we'll have some more time and hopefully a good bunch of pics to upload. The pic on this blog is of where we are off to tomorrow.
