We are now officially in the rainy season, it must be at least 2mm since the start of the month but it got cold as well. Still the good news Zoe is that you are coming back to work, yippee. But don't rush.
Did I tell you that I spent a week on a yacht last year sailing around the area. Kho PhiPhi is hyped because of DeCaprio's The Beach but totally over touristy, there are some beautiful places further north in the bay, but you really need your own boat. A mate of mine spent two months on Lanta and loved it. If you have too much money and really want to bask in luxury there is a resort on Kho Yao which we bumped into, uber stylish.
Beautiful part of the world enjoy.

Hi Zoe and Mark. Great blog updates - you are very good. When i was away my folks were lucky if they got a phone call once a week and the occasional email!!! Sounds like you are having an amazing time bet you can't beliwv it is April already. Enjoy every moment you are gathering memories that will last the rest of your life (although with my baby brain and severe lack of sleep personally i can barely remember my name let alone my travels!!!! hee hee). Looking forward to the next blog. Love and hugs, Luce, Dave and Oscar xxxx

It rained here last month, or was it the month before!
Kuala Lumpur will be a serious shock after the last two months or so and shame you didn't do the overland from Cambodia to Thailand but if you are overlanding up into Thailand that is a great trip too.
I am insanely jealous and trying to work out if I would be missed if I took three months off work. Especially as a chum is leaving today to do five and a half months around Asia and Australia.
One question, are you still planning on coming back to the UK or planning to live out there, I ask because you posted job adverts in one of the photos!!!

Hi guys. Just read your blog about Vietnam and Cambodia. both amazing and educational places. Knew you'd like vietnam in the end.
Zoe you feel the same as me about Hoi An. Lovely place one of my favs too, and I said exactly the same as you, about going back there for a holiday, with loads of photos of clothes so I can shop till I drop. The 4 of us should plan a holiday there when you get back.
You liked the crazy house then? Brilliant isn't it! Have they finished building it yet?
Don't you love Ankor Wat? Its amazing. I got up at 3am to go see it.
Anyway we should skype again soon. Let us know when you have good signal.
So wish we were there!

Hello ! I am so incredibly jealous - it sounds like you are having the most amazing time. Taking Adam to the Bug Zoo (again...) and I'll tell him Zoe ate the sweet little crickets he's currently stroking (ummm - they're huge actually, and from Malaysia so have a look...)
Enjoying your trip through you - and off to Cancun (!) on Sat for some sun..x

Hey Guys,
We Loved Viet Nam - such a pleasant surprise for us. Did you see the "pink" temple in Siem Reap? We did the sunrise tour as well and were the only people, it was like stepping back in time wasn't it. Glad you are enjoying the ride, sounds like you are definitely past the tourist part and now into the traveller part. Difference? Once brings home gifts the other stories.
Travel on!

Hey guys! Sounds like the trip of a lifetime you're both having! Such memories you're making! Thought I'd drop you a line and say we do think of you ( in a slightly jealous kind of way I have to say) as the drone of normal life gets a little dull!! But I guess this would be a good time to share that we are expecting again in August so I suspect we'll be wishing for the drone of normal life during this sleepless nights!! Haha!! Well, anyway, keep up the amazing time and stories! Huge love, the Earnshaws xx

More great stories, I take it Hanoi was cold and I am not just talking about the weather. Looking forward to the pictures. You will be pleased to know the sun has come out and it reached 16 degrees yesterday so there.

Hi Both - thanks for the b'day card it was very nice of you to take time out to organise that. Days are getting longer here - so a few more hours daylight every week is most welcome. Some days are positively summer like well if you have a good imagination. Look forward to the next update - enjoy. xxx
