Only kidding!! Our first day in Vegas was actually pretty tame, some may even say boring - but we needed it! We had a lovely long lie in, with no rush to check out at all, which was lovely. After a quick skype session with the parentals we headed up to floor 8 of the hotel for the outside pool. We had a couple of uninterrupted hours of sunbathing, reading, watching people jump off the tower and dipping in the hottub before Donna had to escape from the verbal tyrade of a little troll who had decided to sit near us throwing abuse down the phone, got a little too much. In the evening we didn't venture much further than one of the hotel's restaurants. I managed to feed my new obsession with chowder, which the head chef caught sight of and decided it wasn't up to his standards so he took it away and brought me a fresh batch. Happy days! At about 11 we thought we might walk up to the strip. Ten minutes down the road we changed our minds and walked back to the hotel and our beds instead! Rock'n'roll!!
