Day 5
A rest day is a rest day. So I took the Liberty to take a day off. I went to the store to buy a new watch. My old one - a geonaute 700 - was having problems with displaying a correct heartrate (30!) . The store was very kind. Took my old one back and I got my money back.
With refunding I bought myself a forerunner 210 from garmin. A gps watch with heartrate monitor and a foodpod option. It isn't water resistent, but I had to spend another 100€ If I wanted that option. I'm not that rich.
The rest of the day I realy did nothing much. Went to work by bike, but that's all. My muscels feel tired. No pain, but if You would ask me the question to do something activ, I would probably say no.
The scedule I will follow is the one garmin suggested on their site. It's the sprint distance and because I don't have any reference I'm gonna stick to this one for now.
My running excersise of today is a 20 min run zone1 with a 5 minute warming-up and a 5 min cooling down.
When I start my run the new watch won't find a gps sattelite. But I'm patient. After a little while I hear the succeeding beep. I start my round and I diside to make it a 5k run.
I started with 5:20 / km and finished 5:02 / km going every km a little faster.
That feels good. No pain - no injury - loads of fun.
The last km I took a cyclist. That felt realy good.
I will connect my watch to upload my info.
Tomorrow a nice little swimming workout. Looking forward to it.
