Today I woke up and went to book my bus to Sao paulo with no luck. Apparently no buses on Sunday or Monday due to Easter! Bit of a panic as I have a flight to campo grande booked on Tuesday.

Got back to the hostels and checked on the web for alternative transfer services and they cost like r$150! So expensive so I double checked the bus site to find 4 remaining seats left on the night bus for Monday! Quickly ran to the bus station and booked myself on. Will have to spend an extra 1 days in Paraty but there are definitely worse places to be stuck!

Got on a bus with Kay and when to trinade where there are lots of beaches! Really busy due to the holidays but was much nicer than the beach in Paraty! It did start raining but was all good we had a nice walk from beach to beach and it was quite a cool town!

On the way back we stopped for some calamari. Ended up getting supplied with calamari, chips, salad, beans and rice! Quite a feast for a quick snack!

Absolutely knackered we got the bus back to Paraty! Upon arrival I has a message from a friend in ilha grande inviting to an all you can eat BBQ at his hostel! A few hours later we plodded along and the BBQ was a making! We got a free caipirinha and te BBQ had loads of salad and roasted veggies, fish and loads of meat! Was really tasty! I was quite boring and went back to the hostel to sleep by 11 but the rest carried on drinking and went down town!
