Wanaka was a really nice small town with a huge lake we were really lucky as the weather was beautiful when we arrived we were only really there as a stop off for queenstown so with nothing to do we headed out and got an ice cream, we bumped into the others and found a beautiful bar with a balcony that we could look over the lake and mountains with cider on offer it was heaven! Mahinapua was a pub in the middle of nowhere where the infamous kiwi poo party takes place.
