River valley was hilarious we arrived and lost all phone signal as was in the middle of a valley, we then decided to go for a walk round it was in a beautiful setting with waterfalls right outside the room and amazing mountains but we soon discovered that there was something not quite right! We had opted for the 6 bed dorm room as there was 6 of us but a lot of them went in the 'orgy room' where there was 32 people in pretty much one bed as all the mattresses were lined up next to each other! There was also double showers and a private hot tub that was completely secluded we are all pretty certain it was the perfect swingers spot and all the staff were at it like rabbits with each other! After then we moved onto Wellington for two nights got dressed up and went out for the cheap drinks night in the bar downstairs once we were properly singing and had been for a dance we started our search for chips and cheese not an easy challenge but after about 6 shops we found a Turkish man willing to put cheese on for a dollar and went home very happy British birds! We then got the ferry over to the south island and headed to Nelson where we spent the afternoon in the sun in a beautiful hostel/country pub drinking cheap cider we then had beer tasting in the evening followed by a roast all in all a pretty perfect Sunday x x
