We arrived in Auckland around lunch time which gave us plenty of time to explore we went to the sky tower and went up to the top which had amazing views and watched as people jumped off, we then went to the museum which was good but random it was every kind of museum rolled into one war, natural history, history of new Zealand and lots of other random things but was interesting! We then spent about an hour walking around trying to find mcdonalds so we could use the wifi! The next day we got on the kiwi experience the bus that we're using to go round the whole of new Zealand! It took us to the top of mt Eden which gave us amazing views as well from a different angle! We then headed out of auckland to a town called Whitianga and stayed in a really nice hostel where we got to know the rest of the bus and made friends with Suzanne, Kerry, Jo and Stuart who are a couple everyone else is rly nice but there our lil group of friends! We then headed to Rotorua and on the way stopped off at a place where u walk through old mining caves and railway tracks which were rly cool! When we got to Rotorua we decided to go lugeing which is similar to go karting but gravity takes u down the side of a mountain lots of fun! Me and Suzanne then made the most of the $5 vodkas in the bar in the evening!
