We arrived safely last night and our hostel is pretty nice, we are sharing with another couple in quite a big room so it's nice to have a bit more space! Madrid is so hot... Making it hard to do much walking without wanting to sit in the shade every 5 minutes. We did our best though, we had a walk around to see the sights, such as the royal palace and it's gardens which were so grand and beautiful.
