Hi everyone. Just a quick one, Darwin is hot, sunny & am loving every minute of it! I am staying in a hostel in the centre of the city which is pretty noisy at night time but nice & clean, which is the most important thing! Haven't really had much work yet, just a couple of functions waitressing but am not too fussed at the moment as I am too busy enjoying myself! Had 2 lovely girls in my dorm that I have become such good friends with, they are 18 & 21 & gorgeous so making me feel rather old! They party all the time, we have been out 5 times together in a week which is very unlike me, but am really enjoying myself. Its nothing compared to their 11 nights in a row of going out! They've left now though so am missing them lots but it'll do me some good to get some energy back & try to get some work lined up!
Gavin is staying in a campsite up the road & has got himself work all this week with a removals company, and did a few days last week too, so he's doing ok!
So all is good here & hopefully things will stay this way for a while!

UPDATE: Had an interview yesterday & got a call this morning to say they've offered me the position starting tomorrow! Very happy indeed!

Its a PA job about 1/2 hour from Darwin centre, working for the Government in Legal & HR for some Arts, Sports, Natures, Parks & Gardens Sector! Its for 4 weeks, which is just perfect & is paying $25 an hour, which is about 12 pound 50 an hour, so I'm more than happy with that! Feels like everythings going a little too well that somethings bound to go wrong for me, but after enjoying myself so much last week and now I'm being sensible and had to find a job, I get offered one this morning! Just feels like its all meant to be. Lets hope it stays that way. Much Love Lucy xxxx
