I love Noosa! Got up and dressed, and realized I had to accept my camera was gone. So rang mum and dad to break the news, was nice chatting to them though. I'm going to buy a new camera asap because I din't want to miss out on getting more photos, I have already lost a load. Milly had to go to the travel agents again so I popped online and then sat in the sun reading my book. Met with Haydn and Andy at 10 then went to meet Milly in Peter Pans (the travel agent). We headed to the strip of shops next to our hostel as the guys wanted to rent a surf board, then walked down to the beach. Took about 10 mins but got to see Noosa and it really is beautiful. The beach is gorgeous - no high rise buildings here! I love how the beaches in New Zealand are surrounded by forests instead of hotels! The few appartmetns there were by the beach front would probably be my dream holiday home. Me and Milly sunbathed while the guys surfed, I read my book for a while and worked on my tan! Perfect, perfect weather. Went for a dip in the sea which was cold when I first went in but lovely once I got used to it. We then went to the main strip to get some lunch, there were a few liitle trendy shops but we resisted! Looked expensive anyway! We went to a food court, never been so spoilt for choice! Sat in their eating and chatting then walked through a foresty bit to go further down to beach where there were better waves. Milly was leaving that day so had to walk back to get her bus. I am hopefully going to see her again at Rainbow Beach! All the girls (Milly, Sarah, Laura etc) were leaving Noosa that day and are all doing Fraser the day before me, but I am sure I will meet others! And I will see them at Rainbow Beach anyway :-) Me, Andy and Haydn all went in the sea, big waves, forgot how fun going in the sea is haha! i felt like a kid again, jumping over waves and swimming through them. Was in the sea for ages just messing around, I even had a go on the surf board they'd hired. Couldn't stop laughing though, felt so ungracefull in the bikini and it was a different surf board to the ones they train you on! I did manage to stand up briefly though! Decided once I had done that it would be a good time to leave the sea and keep it cool haha :-p Sunbathed to dry off, then we left the beach and got on the shuttle bus that goes to and from Nomads to the beach throughout the day. So got back to the hostel, were going to go for a swim but the sun was going down and the water was so so cold! had a showered and washed and dried my hair which took ages as always! Met the guys and a guy called Seb who they'd met in Brisbane. We had money off vouchers for the meals at the Nomads bar so got some dinner, the biggest burger and chips ever! Really, realllly good though :-D We then met a really nice couple they'd met in Brisbane and the 6 of us played a few drinking games in the bar while it was happy hour. A couple of other girls came along too that Andy knew so we were all sat together. The bar was busier than the night before but still pretty quiet for its size. There were a few random drinking games and prize draws going on, then there was a game of head and tails. Didn't realize what game I was playing until it startyed but went with it and ended up winning! Amazing prize, a 2 night 3 day Fraser Island trip worth $300! From Nomads too, who do a different type of trip to the one I'm already doing, so I will do TWO trips to Fraser and only have paid for one!! Soooooooo cool, Fraser is meant to be the best thing to do in Oz. Defiatley worth taking part in the game, wouldn't have done it if I wasn't so confident I would win haha! But I dont care, because I won! Luckily the bar only got busier after the game haha, and there was music and the dancefloor got pretty busy. A few of us had to dash to the cashpoint in the pouring rain but that was quite fun really! Bad for my hair though :-p Went back and spent some time on the dance floor, enjoying the jug of Strongbow I had won from the game, then headed to bed pretty late. Pretty successful night!
