Got up and packed my bags and couldn't find my camera anywhere. Spent a long time searching for it. Checked out though, leaving my details, and hoped I would find it in the bottom of my bag at some point. Mirium had to leave early but I met with the two guys from last night and we strolled down the beach to get some food, the sun was out and as I expected, Mooloolaba looks beautiful in the sunshine! Gutted I didn't have my camera! None of the restaraunts were serving food yet (not being backpackers, they eat at restaraunts haha!) which was a shame as they all looked amazing but we grabbed a subway (not quite the same) and headed back tot he hostle. The guys left and I went on the computer, would have gone for a swim but had packed away my bikini! Did some blogs then went and laid on these really comfy sofas at the front of the hostel and read my magazine. So nice to have the sun shining again! At half 2 the guy from the Oz Experience turned up and he helped take my bags to the bus and on I got, off to Noosa! Had heard so many things about Noosa... it's a really popular holiday destination, its pretty expensive but really trendy, it has a gorgeous beach.... it SO hasn't dissapointed! Driving into Noosa it looks gorgeous, amazing houses and so green! The journey was only about an hour and it went quick as I had picked up a new book to read in Mooloolaba. I'm hooked! Got off the bus at the transit center at about half 3 and was waiting for the Nomads bus to pick me up when I got chatting to a girl called Milly and two guys, Haydn and Andy. They were all travelling on their own and had met in Brisbane, and they were all staying at Nomads. We had to wait quite a while for our bus but it turned up eventually and took us to the hostel. The hostel is gorgeous! So, so nice, all ground floor rooms, a big pool, lots of palm trees and a decent sized seating area outside. All tried to check in together but they couldn't put us all in the same room but me and Milly were in the same room. It was a 12 bed dorm but really nice, en suite and so much space! Really clean too. We unpacked and chatted for a bit then Milly had to go to the travel agents across the room and I met with Sarah, who had met back up with Laura (who I met when they were together in Sydney). Got changed for the evening and at 6 I met with Milly, Andy and Haydn, Sarah and Laura and some really nice girls they'd met. Great group of people and a beautiful night! It seemed everyone in the hostel was sitting outside, really nice atmosphere. There was a free BBQ (as in, a sausage and bread haha.... they could really get done for false advertising out here!) and the most amazing band playing. It was just 2 guys and two guitars but they were so, so good, amazing voices. I think every single girls heart melted a bit that night. They played tons of covers and we just sat chatting and listening to the music, they got everyone singing along at times too (no surprises Wonderwall was one of those singalongs!) which was awesome. Most people headed to bed once the band had finished, but me, Milly, Andy and Haydn went and sat in the bar for a bit chatting but it was quite a quiet night (Sunday!) so we decided to go back to the room. Got showered and read my book in bed for a bit, then slept like a baby.
