Yes I am still here in Queenstown!!! We were originally meant to leave on Sunday but Zoe and I had an incident whilst bungy jumping so its been put back!! Whilst jumping the ledge on Sunday afternoon Zo triggered off really bad stomach pains straight afterwards - it wasn't something that the bungy had done but it meant that something wrong inside hurt a lot! we got an ambulance to the hospital and then she had to be taken down to Invercargill two hours away for an operation! I went to see her yesterday - AJ Hacket took me down with one of their bungy guys which was very good of them, and she's come back today to the edical center up here so hopefully on the mend. Bit of a scary few days but think the worst is over. On a lighter note I went white wtare rafting on Saturday which was brilliant - we had some really heavy rain last week and the rapids were much bigger than usual - plenty of grade 5's so was a rough ride. I didn't fall out at all but Sam the rafter i was staying with got his friend from the other boat to pull me out half way down and dunk me in the freezing water!!! I took this very well as having a strop may have left me deserted anyway!!! I also did the shot over jet - a really fast jet boat that goes down the shotover river and completes 260 degree spins! To be honest I didn't rate it that much and it was bloody freezing! Had such a cold face from all the water and cold winds! But it was ok.
Not sure what the next few days hold - have booked in at the hostel till the weekend so will just wait and see - might get in some hiking as its about time I did some free activities! Will keep you all informed anyway - lots of love xxx
