Hey hey,

Monday, my first day in the mountains... mmmh feel good!

Wake up at 6:00, meeting at 7:30 at the tube station Escuela Militar in Santiago to rent skis and snowboards... You should have seen the equipment! haha I had a Salomon snowboard, but let see, it was surely one of the first Salomon snowboard...

leaving from Santiago at 9:30; I wish I could have taken some pictures of the road to El Colorado, but I'd been suggested to rather not move in the mini bus, as the door just besides me was not really "secure" (elastics were holding it!)... anyway, make it up, cactus along the shrink road, no barriers of course, praying for not having a car arriving in front of us... 50 min later, we were buying our pass.

A great day, with of course an enormous "churrazco con palta" for lunch (sort of hamburger with slices of meat and lots of smashed "avocats") to slide much easier in the afternoon... but I have to admit it, snow was a bit desappointing; less snow in the Cordillera de Los Andes than in France??

OK, I'll try again... tonight we're taking a bus overnight to get to Pucon in the middle south of Chili, must be something amazing...
