Hola hola!

Welcome in Santiago! I eventually arrived on Sunday midnight after a big night in Madrid because my aircraft had a "technical problem"... just the time to read in the papers how the aircraft crashed 2 days ago in Madrid, after the pilot had announced such a technical pb... Anyway, Here we are!!!!

Julie was waiting for me, talking to her 8 chilenos flatmates in her colourful living place... perfect. Julie manages to speak Spanish quite easily after a month; I was impressed! and also it makes me hope that someday I'll maybe understand and be understood by chilenos... that is not that easy right now ;)))

Monday, first day, first impression, first time in the tube, first time out of the tube: in front of me, behind palm trees and under a great blue sky... white mountains yiiiiihaaaaaaaaaaa!!

We're Wednesday, still on my flat research, so didn't have much time to move on, I walked a lot in la Avenida Providencia very european style actually, buildings lots of shops and pubs; Julie lives in el Barrio Brazil, much more typical, small cafes, small casas.

Chilenos are very nice in general and they like beer too so we understand each other.

I'll be back with more things to tell, it was just to say everything's fine and even great, don't worry...!
