Lovewells vs The World
Today we flew in new York and after a rough plane trip we took a jarring shuttle ride to Manhattan. Bump, bump ow, bump, bump, ow, bump, bump...you see. Finally, we arrived at our hotel, got to our room and went: "oh" The room was not that great. After that, we went down to Central Park, where we hired pedicabs to show us around. There was a lake, and there were row boats you could use to row around in. We learnt that the only things in the park that weren't added in by man were the rocks. There was a really cool waterpark inside, shaped like a castle, which we played at, and got soaked, which was a good thing because it was hot. We tried a jumbo pretzel, which was nice, but we agreed it was not something we would go rushing back for. For dinner, we went to Angelo's pizza, which was delicious, and as we are in New York, the slices were giant, almost as big as my head! We also walked past where they were filming a news program. New York is definitely cool, but very overwhelming. Gemma. Central Park We went on a bike taxi that went around. The whole Central Park...its enormous! Our driver Roman was pretending our one was a Lamborghini, we were heaps faster than Gemma's one! We saw a fa out fountain I the idle of the park. There was a lake next to it that was 20 acres and had heaps of turtles in it, and little row boats on it. And by the way, the fountain had coins in it, so I skimmed a coin I. And got 2 skips and lots of luck (hopefully). We went to an awesome castle themed water park in Central Park. It had a proper moat you could splash in. And even had a dungeon. It was really hot so we cooled down by getting soaked in the geyser tunnel. I was surprised to find all this in the middle of the big (giant Apple) city. We ate a giant pretzel and then A giant ice cream, then Headed back to our hotel. We went out again soon after to a famous pizza place. One slice = as big as your head. Yum! The. We went into Times Square in the dark. We kind of got lost in the maze of bright lights that was kind of challenging. The billboards shimmered and shined, and the people shuffled and bustled. The NYPD (that's the New York police department) were everywhere on foot, in cars and and horses. We pretty much ran away in terror for all the busy loudness. Luckily our cosmic hotel (it had weird lights like a UFO) was a quiet. Daniel.

Jenny Miller Love Central Park - an amazing place. The water park is new or we didn't find it the many years ago we visited.
