Lovewells vs The World
From Daniel: I must say I was surprised to find an aquarium at the space centre! It had massive fish and tiger sharks, and a kelp forest. You could make waves then see how the kelp actually stops all the sand from getting churned up when the waves crashed. Kelp is very important to the sea life. The space ship,Endeavour, was at the space museum, there was cactus near it...the first cactus I ever saw. We got a nasa passport, then went to see the space shuttle. I didn't really know about the space shuttle but now I do.The space shuttle tiles are made out of silica because sand is good in the heat. To get it here they towed it through the streets with a ute! It is massive so it looked crazy! At the front of the museum there was a scale that we could pull on to lift a pick up truck...and the ute that towed it was the vehicle. It took me, my sister and grandpa to lift it but we did! There were lots of cool science experiments too. I tried moving mist to see how it bends around you and you can make it swirl. I got to put on wings and go in a wind tunnel. And I did a hurricane simulator, but actually that was just like a normal day where we live. I also launched a simulator of a wright brothers plane into the air...but then I crashed and burned! I got a t- shirt with space shuttle endeavour and it has the emblem on it. I loved it here and now I can't wait to go to the Houston space centre too.
